How to make paper shuriken and kunai

How to make paper shuriken and kunaiShuriken - is a special star made of thin metal, which many years ago, the samurai used as a throwing weapon. Translated into Russian, this means "blade, hidden in his hand." We will explain how to make a shuriken out of paper in stages.

For this we need:

  • a sheet of A4 paper;
  • scissors.

1.We take a sheet of paper, cut it so that it is in the shape of a square. The resulting paper figure is cut into two parts.

2.We take one of the halves of the square, bend it in half so that a narrow rectangle is formed. Angles, which lie opposite each other, in the new rectangle are bent towards opposite sides.

3. Bend the following two corners. The figure shows the dotted line, as the lines should be located. As a result, you should get two right triangles.

4. We fold the second half of the shuriken in the same way, repeating operations under points 2 and 3. As a result, the halves will be mirrored.

5. Now two parts must be connected.To do this, turn any of them in triangles down and put it under the other half. The corners are turned into the middle. Do not forget to make bends on the bottom half, as shown in the figure.

6. Turn over the halves that are already connected. At the bottom we make bends and set corners in the middle of the craftwork under the triangles.

Continuing the theme of weapons, we will describe how to make a kunai out of paper, a metal tool resembling a knife. For the manufacture we need only a few sheets of paper.

It turns out kunai so:

1. A4 sheet fold in half lengthwise.

2. Each of the four corners is folded toward the center, as shown in the figure, to the line of inflection.

3. Turn the craft vertically. Each of the upper side parts must be folded two times in the direction of the vertical axis.

4. Cut off the lower part with scissors so that the blade in the shape of an arrow is finally obtained.

5. In the same way we make one more part.

6. To make a handle for our kuna, you need a sheet of paper folded diagonally into a “tube”.
