Indian soup "Dhal"

You will need
  • - 1/2 tsp. ground chilli pepper
  • - 1/2 tsp. turmeric
  • - 2 cloves of garlic
  • - 1 kg of canned tomatoes
  • - 500 ml of broth
  • - 1 onion head
  • - lemon juice
  • - 1 tbsp. red lentils
  • - 1 cucumber
  • - salt
  • - ground black pepper
  • - fresh greens
  • - vegetable oil
Instruction
Chop garlic and onion thoroughly and fry in vegetable oil. Add all the necessary spices - chili pepper, black pepper powder, turmeric. Fry the mixture for 5 minutes.
Transfer the onion mixture to a small saucepan. Pour in the broth and finely chopped tomatoes. Rinse lentils in cold water and add to the main mixture 10 minutes after boiling.
When the lentils are soft, add lemon juice and chopped greens to the soup. If necessary, salt the mixture to taste. Before serving, you can fill dhal sour cream. Place a small amount of chopped cucumber on each plate.
