For many, autumn is also a time for culinary experiments. Therefore, today we offer to cook very simple, but at the same time original, and most importantly hearty dishes, which you can simply feed the whole family with. These are village pies.

Many of us did not even think about the fact that the word “pie” came from the Old Russian “feast”. Indeed, in ancient times, these delicacies were mandatory dishes on all the festive tables, symbolizing wealth. In the 19th century, they were necessarily served in famous restaurants to the first courses, and today they are used both as a dessert and as a snack, depending on what they put inside this baking.

The rustic cake that we offer you to prepare today is very easy to prepare and according to the ingredients,and as a filling, any seasonal vegetables or fruits will do. It will appeal to those who appreciate not only the taste, but also the aesthetic side of food. Tired of buying baked goods? Then it's time to start at home. From what is at hand you can always make something special. We offer to make pastries with apples. Will be needed:

  • flour - 1.5 tbsp .;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • egg - 1 piece;
  • baking powder - 1 pack;
  • sugar - 4 tablespoons;
  • apples - 3 pcs .;
  • cinnamon.
