Instruction
Start by marking the track. Determine the width of the track in 80 cm. If you lay the track not in a straight line, but with many bends (for example, between fruit), then to maintain the width along the entire length of the track, use the following method. Knock 2 long nails at a distance of 80 cm to the board, attach a stick to it, which will play the role of a handle (you can simply tie a board with nails to a rake). Now, where you plan to make a track, just roll this board. Nails will leave footprints on the ground, and your path will be even throughout.
Next, without going beyond the boundaries of the markup, remove the ground to the depth of the bayonet. Make a small bias so that the water on the track does not accumulate. Tamper the bottom of the trench.
Cover the bottom of the trench with a small layer of drainage from gravel, crushed stone (5-10 cm). You can also use glass bottles. A great way to replace rubble or gravel in a drain. Of course, this layer should already be smooth, without tilting, check the level.
Now you need to make the sidewalk "tile" of wood blocks, which probably have in every garden, where from time to time you have to cut down old trees. From these blocks and thick branches cut “pancakes” with a height of 10-15 cm (of course, all segments should be of equal length). You can cut both in a straight line and in an oblique line. In the first case, round pancakes will turn out; in the second, oval with an interesting pattern of annual rings. It is better to use blocks of different thickness, then the path will be more interesting and richer.
When the material for the coating is ready, you can proceed to the design of the coating. All the "pancakes" that you filed, lay tapping on the drainage pad. Fill all gaps between the stumps with any loose mixture - the same gravel and sand. You can condense it by watering.
