Who are nyashki?

Nyashka is one of the modern slang words that are often used both locally and out of place. But who such nyashki often do not even know those who often use this expression.

The word "nyashki" comes from the Japanese word "nya." This is the equivalent of the Russian "meow", an imitation of the sounds that the cat makes. At first, the so-called heroines of Japanese anime were called, having a cute and even somewhat sugary appearance and often speaking in gentle voices resembling a cat's meow.

Subsequently, the word began to be applied in a broader sense. Now the little girl is not only a pretty and pretty girl, but also a kitten with a bow, a puppy in a basket and other people and creatures that cause affection. We can say that “nyashka” is a synonym for the word “cutie”.

Recently, many people use the word "cute" in an ironic sense. They represent those who want too much to like others, too want to look cute and charming. In such cases, the word “nyashka” becomes the definition of a sugary and not too clever person, whose efforts to be “nyashny” look ridiculous.
